Monk fruit extract is obtained from the monk fruit, a small melon native to southern China, while erythritol is a sugar alcohol produced by the fermentation of corn glucose. Both are zero calorie and sugar-free. This ingredient is ideal in sugar-free and keto baked goods, as well as in hot and cold drinks.
