This Dish Brush comprises a bamboo handle and a removable and replaceable brush head made with stiff sisal fibre bristles. The brush is vegan-friendly and is made entirely of plant-based materials.

A sustainable alternative to plastic dish brushes, this Dish Brush with Removable Head can be used to wash dishes as well as to clean surfaces around the kitchen and bathroom. 

Each brush head can last for months with proper usage and maintenance. Make sure to not submerge or soak the bamboo parts in water, shake off excess water, and hang to dry after each use.

If you find your brush head is starting to smell, dip the bristles in vinegar occasionally to help kill bacteria. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial but the vinegar will help too.

Continue using this brush until the bristles are too worn out or the brush head falls apart, then compost or bury in the garden or dispose of in a green waste bin. Stop using the brush and replace it if you see any mould growth.

Storage and Care: To reduce cracking, keep the bamboo parts dry as much as possible, and always make sure NOT to soak or submerge them in water for prolonged periods.

The brush head is fully replaceable, so when it's worn out, slide it out from the metal wire and replace the head. Keep reusing the handle until it is worn out. Don't apply undue pressure on the handle or it will break. 

Replacing the brush head: The first time, it may be a little stiff to bend the wires and you may need to use a pair of pliers to loosen it (use caution). The subsequent times, you can use strong fingers to squeeze the wires together, loosen the metal grip, and pop off the brush head. Just slide a new brush head on and replace the metal grip that holds it tight. 

Using with dishwashing block: Keep in mind that when using dishwashing block, a soft sponge on most dishes is ideal for best longevity. If you use a hard bristle brush on all dishes, you will wear down the dish block faster than a sponge and might dig a hole in the middle of the block. 

End of life: Once worn out, the wooden handle and bristles can be composted or buried in the garden, the metal parts can be recycled.
