Jojoba beads are white, odorless, hard free flowing microspheres, derived from of jojoba oil with a melting point of 70ºC. Jojoba beads are ideal for shower gels, soaps, body polishes, facial or foot scrubs and many other skin cleansing products, since they provide superior oxidative stability, excellent emolliency and gentle exfoliation without causing irritation or microlacerations to the skin. Because of their high melting point, Jojoba beads are particularly useful in elevated temperature stability applications.

These replace microplastic beads used in conventional face/body scrub and are fully biodegradable.

The 28/60 grade is coarser than the 60/100 and is suited to body scrub products as it may be too coarse for facial scrubs.

They may be used in formulation from 1% to 15%, depending on the desired visual effect and aggressiveness of exfoliation.

Instructions

Add a small amount of beads to regular body wash and scrub lightly over skin. Rinse and follow with moisturiser after shower.
