OVERVIEW

White sage is a flowering perennial that is native to the Southwestern United States. This plant loves to grow on sunny, arid slopes and has tall woody stems and tiny white flowers. White sage exists only in a relatively small range in southern California. Much of its limited range has been affected by human development.

White sage leaves are often rolled into a large bundle and burned as an incense to purify physical spaces.

These bundles are about 4 inches long and 1 inch thick at the burning end. They are bundled with the stems together, providing a handle for easy use.

How-to:

  1. Declutter the space
  2. Close window and door
  3. Light the tip of sage in a heat-proof bowl/shell
  4. Take the bowl and let smoke smudge every corner in a clockwise direction
  5. After 10-15 mins, open the window
