Meet the world's best Walnuts! These Walnuts come from Chile during March - September, where the climate is perfect for growing walnuts that are much sweeter, and less bitter than your ordinary USA or Chinese origin nut. Chilean walnuts have a lighter, brighter colour and a much higher oil content. However, this also makes Chilean walnutsmuch more sensitive to nature, so they must be kept refrigerated when stored in order to maintain their flavour.

Chilean Walnuts can only be found in February - July, and stocks quickly run out, because of their superiority to the USA walnut. We do our very best to buy as much as we can when they're in season, and store them at zero degrees with low humidity, but sometimes we don't buy enough or sell out far faster than our expectations! However, USA walnuts grown in October - January also taste great, so for a few months of the year we also supply these.

Cooking Notes

Flavour: Sweet, Honey

Usage: Eat as a snack, or let the walnuts be the star of any dish. These fresh seasonal walnuts have almost no bitter flavour, so chop, and generously use for topping cakes, breads and cookies.
