Only Blonde Henna and small amounts of Wine Red remaning.

All of our certified organic henna blends are based upon the Lawsonia inermis plant, a shrub that grows in the deserts of the Middle East, West Asia, and North Africa. This plant contains hannatannic acid and, when mixed with hot water, will coat the hair. Henna seals in oils and tightens the cuticle giving your hair a rich, healthy shine. Our henna is not suitable for temporary tattooing.

A henna application will blend naturally and fade gradually without noticeable regrowth. The color may last up to three months and can be applied every 4-6 weeks if desired. Switching from chemical hair colors to organic herbal hair colors may require multiple applications to obtain the desired shade and is dependent on hair condition. If chemicals have not been used in the past, henna should cover in the first application. Henna can color gray, but may take multiple applications.

We strongly recommend a strand test before doing a full application.

HOW HENNA WORKS

This natural hair coloring process forms a protective coat of rich semi-permanent color around each hair strand. It easily adheres to the hair cuticle and penetrates the cortex region of the hair and develops color easily by natural oxidation. The color is not permanent; it washes out gradually and will not stain or leave any residue on hair.
